You know how we feel about the Rolling Stones round here - this despite the fact that they're now, essentially, a vast corporate entity with merchandise fulfilling the traditional role of stocks and shares. In fact, the Stones were the first band ever to accept corporate sponsorship of an entire tour: in 1981 Quintessence Inc., creators of a perfume called Jovan - which, unpromisingly, is the Serbian for 'John' - shelled out a mill on the Tattoo You tour. No doubt that seemed like a lot back then. There's a small book - or at least a mercilessly commented-upon Guardian CiF article - to be written about this cheap 'n' cheesy new vid for what's actually one of the most energised new Stones songs in years. Look! There's Charlie! He's literally playing the drums. Mick's let Keith be in it too.
